We are pleased to announce that Dr. Shengyu Zhou has successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation in Animal Science at the University of Tennessee. Under the mentorship of Dr. Yang Zhao, his research focused on the effects of growth rate, stocking density, and lighting intensity on broiler welfare and behavior, providing strain-specific management strategies to optimize production performance and animal welfare in the poultry industry.

Dr. Zhou’s contributions to precision poultry management have been highly impactful, and we are delighted that he will continue his work with the team as a Research Associate. His expertise and dedication will undoubtedly drive further advancements in poultry research and industry applications.
